Особенности создания клумб

Миниатюрные или достигающие многих метров в диаметре, в центре сада, в его углу, или вокруг дерева, из цветущих однолетников, или многолетних ковров – вид клумбы зависит от желания и возможностей хозяев дачного участка.

Клумбы в большинстве случаев должны просматриваться со всех сторон. Поэтому существует общая закономерность ландшафтного дизайна для их создания.

Плоские клумбы выглядят не очень привлекательно, поэтому лучше делать их немного возвышенными. И чем больше клумба, тем выше она должна быть, т.е. ее возвышенность должна быть прямо пропорциональна размеру. Можно создавать клумбы на небольших склонах.

В центре высаживаются наиболее высокие растения (георгины, розы, канны, высокорослые астры, хризантемы). Можно разместить опоры с вьющимися растениями. Небольшие деревья (хвойные, например) или декоративные элементы (фонтаны, скульптуры, фигуры животных) также станут достойным центральным элементом клумбы.

Цветение клумбы можно поддерживать на протяжении всего сезона. Для этого на весну высаживают луковичные (тюльпаны, гиацинты, крокусы, нарциссы) и двулетники (маттиолы, незабудки, маргаритки). После окончания их цветения происходит замена на летние и ковровые растения.

Также учитывается близость клумбы к дорожкам сада. Соответственно, чем ближе клумба к дорожке, тем ниже должны быть растения. В дальних углах сада можно разместить наиболее высокие представители цветочного семейства.

В зависимости от общего оформления сада выбирается и форма клумбы. В самом выигрышном свете выглядит клумба, разбитая на фоне газона. В таком случае стоит немного приподнять клумбу.

Главный уход за клумбой состоит в своевременном поливе, регулярной прополке и, конечно, подкормке растений. Необходимо также удалять увядшие цветоносы и при необходимости выкапывать растения на зимний период.
